We are still open following all government safety regulations for Covid-19
Luckily, the housing market has now been excused from the second lockdown.
The first lockdown saw the property market nearly come to a standstill, similar to which of what the United Kingdom experienced in the 2008 recession. Thankfully we should not be getting a repeat of this by following strict government guidelines in relation to COVID-19.
Housing Minister, Robert Jenrick said on Twitter "the housing market will remain open throughout this period. Everyone should continue to play their part in reducing the spread of the virus by following the current guidance"
This means also that Estate & Lettings Agents can still carry out viewings as long as there is a strict policy followed such as no open house viewings, limiting the distance between the agent and the applicant and not entering offices on a walk-in scenario.
Properties which are managed by Lettings Agents can still instruct their tradesmen to carry out maintenance works on properties should this need to be done.
